We begin our READING CIRCLE with this small but impactful book by Sobonfu Some. The Spirit of Intimacy, draws on the tradition of the Dagara (Burkina Faso) to give a profound perspective on the nature of relationships and the role ‘spirit’ and ritual plays within these. Be they marriage, friendships or community, spirit and spirituality feature as important in establishing and maintaining healthy, balanced relationships.
About Sobonfu Some:
Writer and teacher, who wrote and spoke about spirituality. She founded the ‘Wisdom Spring’ to teach African spirituality to westerners and to provide drinking water to villages in West Africa. Tragically she succumbed to contaminated water and passed in January 2017. She was married to the Burkinabe Shaman, Malidoma Some.

On Registering I’ll let you know which sections to READ up to for the first meeting/discussion. Of course you’re welcome to read the entire book but we’ll only discuss the SET reading.
AS this is part of the MASCIC you will have to JOIN the Community to take part (joining is currently FREE). We’re interested in participants who are ready to develop spiritually through holistic and varied approaches; this is only one of these. You can ONLY take part in the READING CIRCLE if you so wish, as a member of the Community.

This is nominal (2.2.2) – but if you are on a SUBSCRIPTION for any of the Community events, these sessions are FREE as enhancements toward your spiritual journey.
